Bus house rules

The rules you can change before a Bus match.

Set them on Profile → Preferences → Bus Mode before you start; every match you create uses them, and your opponent sees them before accepting. See Preferences.

Your deck

  • X-Ray Vision — the top two cards of your deck are visible, for deeper planning.
  • The Burn Pile — once per game, skip your turn to burn the top card of your deck.

Your piles

  • Classic (Free Stacking) — any card on any other card.
  • Color Lock — each pile is locked to one colour: red on red, black on black.

Drawing

  • Classic (Draw to 5) — draw up to 5 cards at the start of your turn.
  • The Mulligan — stuck? Redraw to 5 cards, but a penalty card goes into your deck.

Jokers

  • Classic (Wildcard) — a Joker plays as the card a foundation needs.
  • The Hijack (Freeze) — play a Joker from your hand straight onto your opponent's deck or one of their piles to freeze it for a few turns. Hijacking ends your turn.

Help on the board

Optional aids, also in Bus Mode: Race Radar (an orange dot on cards you're both racing to play), Combo Play (one tap plays a run like 4-5-6 from a pile), Playable Highlights, and warnings that stop a move you probably didn't mean — for example ending your turn while you could still play.
